po policies where the rhetoric cal mouths are. >> if you look at the plan that they are raising to the president, $2.2รง trillion in eligibility medicare age. the plan that ryan is a part of, the team pushing this plan doesn't speak to the rhetoric that he gave in that speech last night. >> well, you know, you brought up sununu in your comment james and last time i was here i said romney and karl rove need to run off into the sunset together. they are yesterday's party and it's scary to think that this guy was romney's top surrogate speaking all over the place for him. that's probably why he failed. but it's irrelevant to talk about these voices because that's not the future. you do have to give it some time. of course they are going to put out exactly what they want. they know that they are not going to get everything that they are asking for but they are going to put out everything that they can. obviously we're going to come to some sort of deal and i'll keep pointing to the fact that it's going to take time and it's going to take time for our leaders, or lack thereof to fin

raise taxes on the top 2% and have a healthy figures cal policy going forward. >> i was just looking at the wage numbers this morning. i noticed something really quite disturbing and it amplifies both what you were saying martin and something james said earlier. if you actually look at the year-over-year wage growth of nominal wages, they're actually growing for middle income workers now. the kind of workers you're talking about here, not the corporate profit beneficiaries, their wage growth is the lowest on record year-over-year than at any time in this survey which began in the mid 1960s. so contrast that with your corporate profit point and think about in the context of taking the payroll tax break out of the system. that's $1,000 bucks for a median earner. >> an attack on the middle class. professor james peterson and jared bernstein, thank you so much. >>> next the gop civil war. yes, this tilt is a little more lively than the war on christmas. stay with us. >> time for the your business entrepreneur of the week. lauren wanted to introduce the corrine dish kimchi to mainstream a

will cepheus cal conservatives outraged and so this is kind of a high risk game, i believe, for boehner right now. >> is there any deal that wouldn't explode the tea party? >> well, yeah. >> what would be the deal? >> the deal that wouldn't explode it is if you cut a lot of spending and you don't all of a sudden raise taxes to a higher tax rate. i think they would be fine getting rid of some of the loopholes, but if this goes to where it's just higher tax rates on the rich and very little spending cuts, they little reform, i think there will be huge outrage. >> how about a sizable adjustment in entitlements, a big -- billions of dollars in cuts in regular spending, appropriations spending, and a reduction in the rich person's tax rate, a rise to 37% or 38%, would that sell with the right or not? >> i think there's a chance if they would see real reform, real cuts, more than what the president was saying, 2.5 times of cuts for every tax increase, but what they don't want are tax increases now and future cuts. that's not going to work. >> okay. thank you. just want to know what the rules were i
